This course is taught by Puget Sound University Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Aubrey Shelton. Coach Shelton has a prolific career.
He coached the Abe program to a record of 237-57, best in the league and
area in that time period
Won six West Central District championships (2008, 2010, 2011,
2013, 2014, 2017)
Won six Narrows League titles (2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016)
and two Pierce County League titles (2017, 2018)
Made the state round of sixteen ten times (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012,
2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018)
Placed 4th in state in 2008 at the 4A level and 3rd in state in 2013, 5th in
2017, and 3rd in 2018 at the 3A level
Three times named Tacoma News Tribune All-Area Coach of the Year
(2008, 2017, 2018)
Selected Narrows League coach of the year in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2015,
and 2016 and PCL coach of the year in 2017 and 2018.
